Advertising Copy that Inspires

It seems like a lifetime ago now, but Basin Harbor Club was one of my first clients. I had an incredible time visiting their pristine property and getting to know their staff. This copy was written for a brochure.

A Jewel on the shores of Lake Champlain

Set against the bold, backdrop of the Adirondack Mountains, near the shores of Lake Champlain, Basin Harbor Club has been a premium resort enjoyed by generations of families for over 100 years. We enjoy each season, as we are able to meet friendly new faces and returning guests we regard as members of our own family. It is a beautiful, special place for family and friends to come together. Swimming, hiking, picnics on the beach, and special summer children’s programs are just a few of the activities one can enjoy while staying with us. Welcome to Basin Harbor Club, where Vermont memories last a lifetime.

An enduring sense of place

Steeped in History

Founded in 1886 by the Beach family, Basin Harbor has been a respite for travelers for over a century. Once used for summer boarding, over the years, Basin Harbor expanded its size to accommodate more guests. In 1927, the addition of primitive cottages and a 9-hole golf course were created. It was the beginning of Basin Harbor’s extraordinary tradition of establishing a premium sense of place, where generations of family and friends could gather for unforgettable summers.
